TRAUMA CARE
Six Trauma
care centers are sanctioned by the Government of India for attending
cases pertaining to emergency medical care in the APVVP hospitals.
With the GOI financial assistance under 11th Plan, Parishad
has taken-up the work of:

Setting
up of Level II Trauma Care Centers in 3 hospitals viz: District
Hospitals Srikakulam, Rajahmundry and Nellore and
-
Setting-up of Level III Trauma Care Centers in 4
hospitals viz: Area Hospitals Tekkali and Tuni, and District
Hospitals, Eluru and Ongole, located on the Golden Quadrangle (NH 5)
and North-South Corridor (NH 7)
The amount sanctioned for these Trauma Care Centers is Rs. 48. 15
crores during the FY 2008-09 and the following amounts received.
